| Review: | Fate Brewing in Scottsdale is a restaurant brewery in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. The perfect location for small or large groups Fate represents the perfect gathering spot for a day after shopping or a spring training game. Fate has three locations (Tempe, Phoenix and Scottsdale) and good design and architecture are clearly in Fate’s DNA.
The Scottsdale location sits proudly along Scottsdale drive and used a vibrant outdoors space to activate the street while helping buffer traffic noise. As one would expect in the warm Scottsdale climate Fate has created indoor and outdoor spaces that support each other to create a vibrant yet peaceful setting. The interior space is rich and warm with exposed trusses, mechanical equipment and polished concrete floors. There are ample TV’s for sports watching but no too many which helps Fate Scottsdale not feel like a sports bar. Because Fate is a restaurant the serve wine and cocktails in addition to beer. But make no mistake, Fate is a brewery with the sole purpose of creating great beer that is served in architecturally significant spaces.
